"Its a popular place to photograph the stars with a darkness that is unparalleled in most corners of the world. Here is where you can see forever. While the clouds kept the stars away, it opened up another element of the desert, a glimpse into the open expanse and wide open space that is missed when you stare straight up"

A storm blew overhead, and rain began to fall. Im an Oregon photographer so I am used to it. The canon gear can handle the weather and a little dust, but we had not planned on traveling out to the Alvord desert, south of the Steens to photograph in the rain. But as the clouds rolled overhead and the scene unfolded it made for a epic landscape that is hard to compare to here in Oregon.
These are fine art prints, produced on the highest quality papers for beautiful wall art that will look great in your home or office for years to come.
